Acer Liquid Android-powered smartphone running on Qualcomm’s 1 GHz Snapdragon processor launched today in Beijing, China.
Acer Liquid still runs on stable Android 1.6, Unlike Motorola Droid that runs on Android 2.0 which is kind of disappointing as the “Liquid” has 1GHz processing power and Acer failed to utilize it.
Acer Liquid doesn’t have any remodeled sexy User Interface; it just has a regular Android interface. Acer seem to think that Google’s battery management technology is sub par, and they replace the battery management with their own technology, which they said will provide longer battery life to this Android handset.
Acer Liquid will be launched in the first quarter of 2010 in China. There is no information about its pricing.
