Samsung Omnia II is 2010 Olympic Winter Games Official Mobile Device Bell on Friday announced that it would be the exclusive provider for the Samsung Omnia II smartphone in Canada. Samsung Omnia II is 2010 Olympic Winter Games Official Mobile Device which will be held in Vancouver between 12 and 28 February next year.

Samsung OMNIA II will be the perfect device for accessing Bell Mobility’s upcoming offering of exclusive 2010 Winter Games mobile content. Clients can also personalize their Samsung OMNIA II with an included Samsung Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games decal.

OMNIA II buyers will also be able to download Samsung’s Wireless Olympic Works (WOW) communications platform, a comprehensive free application designed to provide real-time information to users’ phones and to keep fans connected during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games
The phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5, sports a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA display, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and 7.2Mbps UMTS/HSPA connectivity.

Samsung Omnia II will also run Samsung TouchWiz user interface which will bring all the widgets you crave straight to your mobile phone.
Bell did not announce when the device, which it says is the “Official Mobile Device of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games” would be made available to consumers nor what they could expect to pay.
